Valorant Replay System Announcement

Not only are there parties celebrating the five-year anniversary of Valorant, but Riot Games has recently announced some changes.

Riot Games recently showcased the highly anticipated Valorant replay system for the first time.

This feature, long requested by the community, allows players to record and review their matches. This will also offer tools to analyse gameplay, strategies and key moments.

Replays will come to Valorant on patch 11.06 in September on PC, while console players will have to wait until later in the year.

The Unreal Engine 5 upgrade is also set to go live around the end of July. Riot Games confirmed that while the first patch will be ‘significantly’ larger in size, players can expect improved FPS performance and faster patch downloads.

Riot also announced that massive changes are planned for Valorant’s esports scene in 2027 with three major goals in mind.

The publisher wants to keep partnerships but bridge the gap between Tier 1 and Tier 2 teams with more opportunities for lower teams.

Riot also wants a more flexible esports ecosystem. This includes a wider variety of tournaments, formats, and more global events and regional events.

Valorant Masters Toronto will also reveal a new map that will be added to the game. Valorant teased the new map in the Season 2025 Act 3 anniversary trailer.
